Papa meets Kaia

Allen drove up for the weekend to meet Kaia and of course, see the rest of the family.

At times, Tenley was feeling good.

Other times, her fever would get her down.

We continued keeping the girls apart.  We would wash hands and change clothes between caring for the two.  When I was watching Kaia, I couldn't help taking pictures of her!  What a precious blessing from the Lord!!

Tenley would hear Baby Kaia crying sometimes and she would imitate her.
Waa-Waa!!

Mindy and Jason get some mail kit meals from Hello Fresh.  There are step by step instructions for each meal.  One evening when we were all busy, Allen took it upon himself to make the enchildadas!  He did a great job!!

Jason was craving bierrocks so Al and I fixed that one evening.

Mindy and I finished putting animals on the walls of Tenley's room.

And because I can, MORE pictures of our little granddaughter!!

Mindy wrote "When you're minding your own business and mom gives you a bath."  Such a funny photo!  She was not happy with mom.

Sunday morning, Allen and I got ready to leave.

I was going to stay longer, but I ended up getting a cough; perhaps what Tenley had.  So I caravaned home with Allen.  I cried when I left!

Good-bye sweethearts!!

Both Jason and I got pretty sick.  I slept a LOT, but Jason still had a toddler to chase around!  But since then everyone is feeling much better!

Jason says "An Oreo a day keeps the doctor away!"

And the girls are finally together!

Baby comes home!

While mommy and daddy were at the hospital with Baby Kaia, Tenley and I kept ourselves busy playing and reading books.

It had snowed outside overnight.

But that did not deter us from taking a walk.  It was not very cold and there was no wind.  Mindy likes to make sure Tenley gets outside as much as possible.

We stopped at the park.

We could swing, but the slide was another matter.

After naps, we took another walk and sat on the porch for awhile to watch people walk by.  And people walking dogs too.

That evening, I thought perhap Tenley was running a fever.
She was a little fussy and tired.

I gave her an early bath.  Jason came home.  Tenley was in fact running a fever.  He gave her some medicine and put her to bed.

The next morning, Tenley was playing.

Before Daddy went to the hospital, they face-timed mommy.

Kissing mommy!

Hi Baby sister!

Tenley likes to stand on top of the coffee table and play on the window sill.
She can watch the workermen building across the street.

She uses Jason baseball card collection as a phone.  Ha!
"Hello"

The neighbors gave Tenley this circus tent.

Later, Mindy sent me a picture of Kaia.

I think she looks like the doll Tenley has.

Jason brought Mindy and Kaia home!

In love!!

Tenley would feel good and then not feel good.  Her fever came and went.  They called the doctor who thought she might have RSV.  Which meant we had to keep the girls apart.  They dare not let Kaia get it.  We took turns with Kaia.  We did due diligence to change clothes and wash hands between girls.

Just like we had to be on guard, spiritually we also need to be on guard.
