Travel home

We said our good-byes to Mike and Debbie and began our journey back home.

 

A mighty tiny house!

Going over the continental divide.  The rivers all flow to the east on this side.

Good-bye mountains!

Windmills have their own fascination, but they sort of ruin good scenery.

Just on this side of Dodge, we got out to take a look.

 Over 140 years and you can still see them!  In their heydey, over 1000 wagons traveled this land, 4 wagons wide, each day!

What a wonderful vacation Al planned for us!  There are still a few states we haven't been to that we will need to think about for next time.
