At work in Denver

We were so happy to go to Denver to see the kids!  They had just moved to their new townhome and we went not only to see them, but to help them to do some work projects!

Mindy and Jason weren't too keen on the lights they had.  They were thinking about hiring an electrician, but Al has done electric work before, having wired our entire basement and other houses we've lived in, so he said he would be glad to do it.

The lights they picked out are so pretty!!

Next - Lights above the dining table

There was much discussion at to the height of the lights above the table.  Mindy wanted them higher, Jason lower.  When we played games one evening, it was decided that maybe a little higher might be better.  However, this is one that might be decided the next time we go back.

 The lights in the entryway were quite tricky.  Good thing Jason is so tall!

"You will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold to the Word of Life."
                                                                                Philippians 2:14-16

May we be a light in this dark world.

Jason had just gotten a new grill and Jason, his brother and Al worked to put that together.

The guys fixed the BEST steaks that evening!!

Jason put the baby dresser together.  It was hard!  The instructions were not right and on-line instructions were there, but Jason figured it all out after he slept on the problem!
I put together a 3-tier rolling bin to use as a movable diaper caddy.  The baby will sleep in a basinet by their bed at first and this can go over there.

Then I helped sort clothes for the baby by size and also filled up the dresser.

Jason's family and we are KU fans/alumni!   A certain aunt from Arkansas had to send this cute little Arkansas onesie.

Mindy and I put the little swing together.  Bear needed a little reassurance that he was still loved.

Since we have come home, Mindy sent a couple of more photos over.  The room is almost ready!

We are all anxious for this little Miss to make her appearance soon!

"For You formed my innermost parts;
You knit me [together] in my mother's womb.

I will give thanks and praise to You,
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well."

Psalm 139:13-14
