A few precious days

The evening before I was going to spend 5 days with the grandchildren, the sunset was just gorgeous.  There were storms brewing in southwestern Kansas.  I was hoping it wouldn't storm while Mommy and Daddy were gone.

Adam and Jill were going to the t4g2016 conference near Louisville, KY so I went to take care of their children.

They laughed that there were about 3x as many people
at this conference than live in their town!

I enjoyed waking up each morning to this view!

I love the chalkboard writing that Jill so creatively designs.
And this verse was one I had read last week.
Do you know that honey has all the nutrients needed to sustain life?
It can even be used in dressing wounds as it fights infections!

It was also a verse that we had to practice at times this week!  Ha!
Kindness fights "infections" in relationships too.

While the older girls were at school, Claire and I had a blast together!

We organized and cleaned out the American Girl closet.

And took the girls to the "beach"!

Claire has outgrown naps for the most part, but one day
she had a fever and a nap was unavoidable.

Quick on the mend and trying her new skill at skootering.

While one sister helped set the table, the other one played with Claire.

Piano practice
Didn't get a picture of the other sister doing clarinet practice in her room.

Papa was able to come Tuesday evening to play with the girls and help me with putting them to bed.

After school bike club

On bike club day and with Wednesday night church, we went out to eat.

Bed time and Bible stories!

A few precious days.

Welcoming Mommy and Daddy back home!
