People watching

Our group went to the Jewish Quarter and Jim gave us an hour to look around.

This guy was really good!  The acoustics were really great and of course we had to get a CD from him!

I found a video of him that you can listen to.

Al and I walked around the streets for awhile, but ended up back at the meeting place to just sit and watch people.  We both LOVE to watch people!!  It is so interesting!  We sat for almost the whole hour, observing and snapping pictures.

The people of this land are so beautiful!

Her mommy nudged her to give a big smile for the camera.

Our group slowly made their way back and we joined them.  What an enjoyable afternoon!

Acts 17:26-27

From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.

Happy 1st Birthday, Claire!

Claire had her first birthday!

"Happy Birthday to you...."

She LOVED her cupcake!!!
She gobbled the entire cupcake down!

Hannah had a fever and slept through much of the party, but was excited for some ice-cream!

Yay for birthdays!!  Thank you, says Claire, for celebrating with me!
Then she promptly went to "eating" her foot.

swimming lessons

My five-year-old granddaughter in Arkansas has been taking swimming lessons.  She is now able to swim the whole length of the pool!  Congratulations, Emeri!!

Emeri  lost her 1st tooth!  Evidently, she lost it twice!  It fell into the pool.  She was able to recover it but then it slipped out of her hand and between the slats on the deck.  The tooth fairy had to accept and IOU.

At home, chillin' with brother, Elijah.
