Easter at the farm

We celebrated Easter today on the Graber side. We first stopped at the home at Pretty Prairie to see Grandpa Bill (Al's Dad). He doesn't really say much, but I think the girls entertained him a lot!

I took this bunny cake along. When Sophia first saw it, she said "Yook! Nana's bringing me a pahty (party)!" Sophia LOVED the bunny cake!

After supper, we hid some eggs outside. Unfortunately, the dog found the first egg. So, Uncle Sid had to come and hold the dog while the children found eggs.

We forgot our Easter baskets so we used plastic sacks.

How many eggs have you found Sophia?

Aunt Gayle said the farmer on the next farm had some foals.

We jumped into the back of the pick-up to go find them.

Moo!
We found cows....

but the foals were in the middle of the field and we couldn't see them
but from a distance.
The farmer the next mile over did have horses who came over
to the fence to watch us.

Kansas sunsets - goreous!
Sophia said "Yook!! A heyicopter!"

Thanks for the fun ride, Aunt Gayle!

What a great time with the family!
Happy Easter!

Christ is risen - He is risen indeed!

  3. Thanks for sharing. It was a beautiful Easter--in spite of our 3 yr. old grandson being sick.
