Sculptures on parade, Mason City

When we arrived in Mason City, I began to notice some bronze statues along the way.  We have these in downtown Wichita, Kansas too.  At the hotel, we were given a pamphlet that showed we could take a 1.7 mile walking tour to see these sculptures.

Fish Story

Sculptures are owned by artists and loaned to the exhibit for one year.  Each of these rotating sculptures is available for sale or lease.   

Mr. Eggwards 

You vote for ones you like.  If voted "The People's Choice Award" these statues become a part of the permanent collection of the city.   If not voted for, the statues move to other cities and new ones are brought in.  I love this idea!
