New place!

Recently, Mindy and Jason moved.

When Mindy texted to see if I'd be interested to come out to Colorado while Jason was on a work trip, I was excited not only to see them, but to see their new place!  They live south of Denver so I didn't need to drive into Denver on 70.    I like this scenic drive better!

I LOVE their new house!

Hello girlies!

The girls share a room and have new pink beds!

I had gifts for the girls and Mindy too.

Papa purchased these dinosaur eggs for the girls.  Tenley loves dinosaurs.

They have to soak in the water for awhile - several hours - and then it hatches out a baby dino.

  Tenley didn't have the patience.

We took the other one into the bathtub but then Tenley decided she didn't want the baby to hatch.

The next morning, we played with balloons.

The workermen came to the house.  They are finishing the basement.

It was quite loud with all the hammering and drilling.

So we decided to leave and go to the library for toddler story time.

Mindy went for a hair cut while I stayed at the library with the kids.  Lots to do there!

They have a cute veterinarian hospital for the children to pretend to be "animal doctors".

We read some books I had brought from home when we got back to the house.  I have the sweetest Pattibooks for 2's and 3's that were written in the 1960s that teach children about God's love, His creation, and about being obedient to parents, etc.

"Let each generation tell its children what glorious things He does."
Psalm 145:4

"Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD,
who walks in His ways."  Psalm 128:1

It isn't always easy, is it.

This little one has begun temper tantrums.

Tenley never had them.

It is hard to obey.

Mindy is such a cool mommy and seems unfazed.
She seems to deal with it really well.

"In all your ways, submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
