We babysat for Kaia and Tenley while mom and dad were gone overnight. Here are some fun things we did.
Sunday morning we went to church. Kaia was shy about going to Sunday School so she sat with us. She loved the singing and clapped along.

The girls love singing. I taught them "The wise man builds his house upon the Rock." And of course they insisted I sing them "Boomity, boomity, boom, I hear the thunder boom..."
We met mommy and daddy for dinner that evening.
They made masks in Sunday School and Kaia went in and made one too.
We went to a park afterwards.
Seafood in the center of America.
Our last morning. Kaia has conversations with her toys.
A magic marker manicure for Papa
We dropped Tenley off at preschool.
We said our good-byes and as we drove off, Mindy texted that Kaia was bawling and saying they should follow us. Isn't that dear? Sad we live so far away. But not too far. We can drive it in less than a day.
When I was growing up, I didn't see my grandparents but once every 5 years. Here is a picture of me on my 3rd birthday. My grandparents were not able to be there and Facetiming was not around either. Could not phone either. Allen's grandparents lived right in the same town, so he was super lucky. God has a place for each of us.
Home.
