Poopy party

Sophia has been potty trained for a while now - sort of. But having trouble with the "poopy" part of it. But this past week she finally decided to do it. Hannah helped her. Sophia imitates Hannah a lot. She loves her big sister. So she began to sit on the little potty chair whenever Hannah was going on her toilet. She was promised a poopy party if she could fill up the chart her mommy had made.

We got a call that a party was in order! I brought a present for Sophia.

A little gross I suppose. But I thought maybe she could use this little potty for a dolly to sit beside her so Hannah doesn't always have to sit with her. The "poop"? A chocolate no-bake cookie.

Grandma Lois found some plates for the girls to give as a prize.

Jill made a poopy peanut dessert. The recipe is Jess's. Her husband Joel named it.

After eating dessert, Jill announced that we would play sardines.

No, not this kind.

It is a game of hide and seek. But a little different. Only 1 person hides. Everyone else counts to 20.

Then everyone looks for the person who is hiding. If you find them, you join them in their hiding spot. One by one they all hide in the same spot (squished like sardines) until the last person finally finds everyone.

We had such fun!

Here are the recipes:
NO BAKES

In a sauce pan, add:
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
Stir and bring to boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Take off heat and add: 1 t. vanilla
pinch salt
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
3 cups oats

Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper. Cool 1 hour and eat!

POOPY PEANUT DESSERT

Make an oreo crust -
crush small bag of oreos.
add 1/2 stick soft or melted butter.
Press into a 9x13 pan. Freeze 1 hour.

Soften 1/2 gallon vanilla, chocolate chip or butter brickle ice-cream. Spread on top of oreo crust. Freeze.

On top of frozen crust, scatter peanuts or mixed nuts, Reeces (cut-up), oreos (chopped). Drizzle with chocolate and caramel sauces.
Congratulations, Sophia! We are proud of you!
