Our family got together for a party last night!
Julie made the cake. She does a great job and you might want to order a cake for some party too. It helps with their adoption costs as they are adopting a little one from China!
Adam got his master's and we are so proud! !
I made him a hat out of cardboard and a plastic bowl. Al painted it with black spray paint. I found Al's 8th grade graduation tassel (from 1969! His mom had kept it in a box and I've had it all these years) and attached the tassel to the top. The gown was one of our kids' high school gowns I had kept. And I printed out a fake diploma. Just for fun.
Master Reverend Utecht? Way to go!!

Auction for adoption benefit
On Saturday evening, there was a spaghetti dinner and auction to benefit the adoption of a couple of special children in Peru.
Paige and Jim adopted sweet Emma last year and are looking to adopt the other two! You can read about it here.
Beth helped make this auction possible. An incredible caring woman with 2 adopted children from the Ukraine.
When they found out what the auction was for, the auctioneer donated his time and the building was also donated rent free!!
There was a lot of cool stuff! Over $3,000 was raised! Foreign adoption costs are really high so if you want to help, I know they would love that!! Help bring home these precious children!
