Mindy left for Alabama. When I go to Wichita, I reach for my phone to say "let's go shopping" or "meet me for lunch!" But then I remember she isn't there any more. So sad. But really happy for her new job and schooling opportunities that God has opened up for her!
Jill ordered a "butterfly kit" for the girls. They got 5 caterpillars. And they were given names. Erica and Jessica (Sophie is into naming all her dollies Erica and Jessica). Jilia and Leah (Hannah's) and Frank (Jill's). They got worm food for them. Then they spun their chrysalis, hung around a few days then hatched (is that the term?)
The girls made butterfly crafts and learned a lot about butterflies. They also made these cookies!
Then we had a farewell party for the butterflies. They were ready for their freedom.
There may have been a few tears.

This morning, I went to the airport to say goodbye to Marshall and Rachel. Heading for Ethiopia for a few years. Everything packed into just 16 crates.
Friends came to say goodbye.
Grandma giving lots of last kisses.
Bid me sigh it in thine ear,
I may scarce its utterance tell;
Bid me hide it in a tear,
'Tis the word—farewell! farewell!
