Our destination this day was to go to the Milton House in Milton, Wisconsin. We left Cedar Rapids and got to Dubuque.
We crossed the Mississippi River into Wisconsin. We usually take 151 all the way to our daughter's house, but this day, we got off right after the bridge to take Highway 11 across the southern part of Wisconsin. New route for us! (Our goal to always try new roads we've never been on. And in some cases will never go on again!)
Had to do a double-take! ???
Farm country.
A plane flew right in front of us and onto this runway.
There was an Amishman plowing his field with his horses. 
A house converted from a barn. Or maybe it is a B&B?
I like the barns in Wisconsin!
I love the architecture also of many homes! I thought about going to architecture school at one time.
Look at these churches!
Maps had us skirting Janesville on some interesting roads.
We arrived at the Milton House in time for a tour with another couple.
