What to do at Wisconsin Dells

What were some of the things we did at Wisconsin Dells?  I'm sure there are lots of things to do, but here is what we did.

Waterparks

The Wilderness Resort where we stayed had 8 waterparks; 4 indoor and 4 outdoor.  They were included with the stay.  All we had to do was have on wristbands.

When we wanted to go, we just called for a shuttle to come get us.

When you're done, there are phones there to ask them to take you back!  Even late at night.  I think they stayed open until 10. There is no extra fee for shuttle service.  Pretty convenient, but if you wanted to drive, you could do that also.

We enjoyed the lazy river

Just after Josh shot this, Al flipped me into the water.  He's such a tease!

The hurricane.

[close up]

(One time was all Jill could handle.  Braver than me.  I didn't do it.)

My favorite was the wave pool but we didn't get a photo of that.  Kaia, who is only 19 months old,  LOVED the Big Bucket that dumps gallons of water on you!!

Whenever she would hear the bell go DING DING DING, she would point up and we'd run under it!

Dells Boat Tour

We decided to go on a boat tour.  We chose the first hour as it was going to get hot that day.

There are also Duck Tours, but we chose this one.

Silly girl!  You are so fun!

They claimed that the waters of the Dells are one of purist, but it looks dirty because of tannic acid that gives it a brown colour.

They stopped a couple of times for us to hike into the canyons.  It was just so beautiful!

At this stop there was a dog who jumped across the rocks.

It really wasn't a tour for the littles so they went to the Deer Park instead.

Mindy wanted to go again.  Claire and I joined her and the girlies.

Wisconsin Deer Park

Tenley wasn't so sure about it all.

We finished up just as a school group showed up.  I'd say we timed that right!

Eating out

We found this restaurant by the water's edge.  Ravina Bay.

MACS was pretty good!

The teens found this coffee shop, Bella Goose.

Jill and Adam went a different time.
Adam got the "Ugly Gosling".

Then there was this place called Market Square Cheese.  We all went and got some cheeses.  And big scoops of ice-cream!

Golfing

Our son-in-law went golfing at the Wild Rock Golf Club.  He said it was a great course and he loved it!  Very pretty!

Arcades.  The Wilderness Resort has arcades and the girls had no idea that mom and dad don't put in money.  They just like the noise and bright lights!

And if you want, you could find a dinosaur around town!

Lots of things to do at Wisconsin Dells!
Much more than what I listed or what we could do in 4 days.
