A Packer Sunday morning

On Sunday morning, we headed to church.  Sophia showed us her room.  Doesn't it look so fun for preteens?
We saw where Hannah helped out.  All the older kids help on Sunday morning and have their own youth group times other evenings.

Claire loves her Sunday School class and wanted me to see her castle.
I told her I had one just like that in a class I taught!

We knew we were in Packerland!  With a game that evening, many church goers were wearing Packer shirts!

I am so grateful to the Lord for this wonderful church and for God leading our kids to them (although I'm sad it's so far away - boo hoo)!

We went to an old drive-in restaurant.  It has been around since 1949! -
Before Culvers or Freddys.

"Let me show you nature....this is sneeze moss."
In the afternoon, before the Packer game, we went to take some pictures.

 what's with all this wind?
this isn't Kansas!

One thing we have noticed about Wisconsin is lack of wind.  It is quite still there.  Unlike here in Kansas, where it is an almost daily experience.  But of course, we get out to take pictures and all of a sudden we experience some breezes!

"I want to pose like this"

Jill, Sophie and I went to the grocery store while the others went to explore the light house.
Sophia enjoyed sorting the tissues by design.  She could be a grocery stocker some day.

                                                         Packer fans everywhere!
We watched an exciting game - Packers against Dallas Cowboys!
The TV gave out the last few minutes!!  Luckily, Adam was able to connect his telephone for the super exciting win!

Fast forward one week:  Aaron Rodgers breaks his collar bone!  So many others with injuries.  Can they rally back for any more exciting games?
