Lodging in Jericho

We were taken to our hotel in Jericho, the Intercontinental Jericho Hotel.

We were quite surprised, pleasantly so, to be staying in such a nice place!

 The food was WOW!!!

We were in the West Bank and since they don't practice Passover (and this was Passover week) we had bread.  Had we stayed in Jerusalem or En Gev, we would have had only kosher foods.

One evening, our bus driver treated us to desserts and coffee.

 It is not often I have stayed at a 5 star hotel.  Maybe never?  It was wonderful!!  Jim sure had his connections!
